Where I come from

In literature with our teacher we were analyzing a poem called "Where I come from" by Elizabeth Brewster, and then in groups of two we responded writing our poem.

I surrounded by the lungs of the earth,
A big yellow god give us the light of every day
When the roads are the streets of the sky.
And an endless scarf spotted by cotton clouds that transmite me harmony and peace.
Every morning the trill of birds inspire our souls.
While an army of workers remaind blind to the gift that God gave us long time ago.
